The material lays the base for what I want to express with my creations. From thin paper I tear material for my collages. I glue layer upon layer to different shades. When I've feel fulfilment of creating pieces of paper and colour, I return to the white clay, I feel the serenity, I create my masks, turn my birds and raku-bowls.... but then I sometimes miss the colour and return to my collages again.
